Local SEO, short for search engine optimization, means making sure people nearby find your business when they search for what you sell.
Niagara is a set of small search markets that happen to share a region, and the region happens to straddle a border. Fort Erie splits between a border crossing and a beach season. Welland has two downtowns and a canal between them. Niagara Falls hides real neighbourhoods under a tourism industry that dominates the results. St. Catharines is the busiest market in the region. Port Colborne is quieter, with real room to rank. Wainfleet has little foot traffic, so the listing has to do most of the job. Pick your town below for the specifics.
The Peace Bridge and the Rainbow Bridge make this one metro in practice, so Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY are on the list too. I work for businesses on both sides of the line. Glad of it, either way.
